Deep learning and high-performance computing for biological data at scale.

I am a PhD candidate in the Department of Computer Science at Saint Louis University, working with Dr. Tae-Hyuk Ahn in the BioHPC Lab. My dissertation, Multimodal Deep Learning and High-Performance Computing for Scalable Metagenomics, builds methods that stay accurate and tractable on terabyte-scale sequencing data. I advanced to candidacy in April 2025.

My work combines GPU-accelerated computing, privacy-preserving machine learning, and large-scale genomic analysis, including what membership and property inference attacks reveal about models trained on sensitive biomedical data.
